CR1428 BARCODE SCANNERS
The Code CR1428 is a fully equipped scanner which can read nearly all types of printed 1D barcodes, 2D codes and postal codes.
It can also read Direct Part Marked barcodes applied by Laser Etching, Chemical Etching or Inkjet Printing.
DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
The scanner dimensions are 140 x 70 x 50mm (5.5 x 2.75 x 2") LxWxH.
The weight of the scanner is 0.110Kg (0.24lbs).
DROP RESISTANCE AND PROTECTION
The scanner can multiple 50 drops from 1.82m (6') to concrete.
The scanner is environmentally rated at IP54, which means that it is protected against dust (with limited ingress) and can withstand water sprayed from all directions.
CABLES AND INTERFACES
A range of USB and RS232 cables is available.
POWER REQUIREMENTS
The CR1428 needs a 5VDC power source and requires up to 450mA.
This can be readily provided by USB connections or in the case of RS232 this can be made available by adding an external power supply to the cable.
RESOLUTION AND READING RANGES
The CR1428 can read:
- 7.5mil Code39 barcodes with a working range of 39mm (1.53") to 185mm (4")
- 13mil EAN13 retail barcodes with a working range of 32mm (1.26") to 260mm (10.24")
- 4.2mil Data Matrix codes with a working range of 40mm (1.57") to 75mm (2.95")
- 10mil Data Matrix codes with a working range of 20mm (0.79") to 165mm (6.50")

DELIVERY
Our standard charge for 2-3 day delivery to most locations in mainland UK is £10.
This charge is subject to a weight limit of 20Kg.
For consignments which are heavier than 20Kg we reserve the right to add a surcharge.
If your order includes products from more than one manufacturer we may need to ship items from more than one warehouse and in such circumstances there may be a carriage surcharge.
We will agree any carriage surcharge with you before accepting your order.
