CONTACTLESS INDUCTIVE CHARGING
CR2700 scanners are fully enclosed and have no exposed charging contacts. The scanner is charged inductively.
This permits the use of extreme cleaning agents which might corrode charging contacts.

WHAT CODE CR2700 EQUIPMENT IS AVAILABLE?
READY MADE SCANNER KITS
A range of ready made Scanner Kits is available.
These mainly consist of Light Grey or Dark Grey Bluetooth CR2700 scanners with Bluetooth inductive charging stations.
Both the Palm and Handled scanners are inserted head first into the charging station.
There are two types of charger. One offers Bluetooth connection and transfers data to a host computer via a USB cable.
The other type is charge-only and does not have any communications facilities. This is typically used in conjunction with a Bluetooth dongle which plugs into a USB port on the host computer.
Finally some of the kits include a useful Desktop Bracket accessory which anchors either type of Charging Station to the desk top.

These Scanners need some means of Charging and Communication.
COMMUNICATIONS
The scanner needs to be able to communicate.
- The scanner is able to communicate directly with another Bluetooth device and this could be a tablet or a mobile phone
- The scanner can communicate with any USB device by means of the Bluetooth Dongle accessory
- The BT Inductive Charging Stations have Bluetooth and can forward data from the scanner via a USB cable
CHARGING THE SCANNER
The scanners need some means of Charging.
- The battery installed in the scanner can be charged by inserting the scanner into a Charging Station accessory
- Alternatively the removable battery can be taken from the scanner and placed in a Quad-Bay Charger
FIXINGS
A range of fixing accessories is available.
- a Desktop Bracket which anchors either type of charging station to a desk top
- a Wallmount Bracket for supporting a charging station such that the downward pointing scanner can be used in presentation mode
- a Vesa Bracket which attaches to the back of a flat panel display and provides a horizontal bracket on the left or right of the screen for supporting a charging station
