GENERAL INFORMATION
The Datalogic PowerScan PD9130 is a high performance hand-held imager 1D barcode scanner.
The scanner has a distinctive green light "laser-like" scan line.
PD9130 models work with Keyboard Wedge, RS232 or USB cables.
The scanner has a yellow and black colour scheme.
Some PD9130 models are available as Scanner Kits which include cables.
Other configurations can be built from Scanners, Cables, Power Supplies and Cords.
DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
The scanner dimensions are 212 x 110 x 74mm (8.4 x 4.3 x 2.9").
The weight is 0.340kg (0.74lb).
ENVIRONMENTAL
The scanner can withstand fifty 2m (6.5') drops to concrete.
The operating temperature for the scanner is -20º to 50ºC.
The scanner is protected to IP65. It is completely sealed to dust and withstands low pressure water jets from all directions.

The scanner requires 4.5 to 30 V.

CABLES
The Datalogic PowerScan PD9130 barcode scanner requires a cable for connection to PCs or other equipment.
The PD9130 works with RS232, Keyboard Wedge and USB cables.
The communication cable also carries power to the scanner.
USB and Keyboard Wedge connections normally supply power directly to the scanner from the connected equipment.
Standard RS232 ports cannot provide power and RS232 connections will generally need the assistance of an external power supply.
Where external power is required a cable with an external power socket must be used.
