GENERAL INFORMATION
The Datalogic PowerScan PD9330 is a high performance hand-held laser 1D barcode scanner.
The PD9330 comes in two models, Standard Range and Auto-Range.
For 10mil barcodes the Standard Range model can read barcodes at up to 50cm and the Auto Range model reads from 14cm to 1.55m. The Auto Range model can read 100mil barcodes out to 11.5m for reflective labels.
PD9330 models work with Keyboard Wedge, RS232 or USB cables.
The scanners have a yellow and black colour scheme.
Some PD9330 models are available as Scanner Kits which include cables.
Other configurations can be built from Scanners, Cables and Power Supplies and Cords.
DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
The scanner dimensions are 212 x 110 x 74mm (8.4 x 4.3 x 2.9").
The weights are 0.340kg (0.74lb) for the Standard Range model and 0.375kg (0.83lb) for the Auto Range model.
ENVIRONMENTAL
The scanner can withstand fifty 2m (6.5') drops to concrete.
The operating temperature for the scanner is -20º to 50ºC.
The scanner is protected to IP65. It is completely sealed to dust and withstands low pressure water jets from all directions.
POWER REQUIREMENTS
The scanner requires 4.5 to 30 V.
The power requirements are 360mA at 5VDC for the Standard Range model and 420mA for the Auto Range model.

WARRANTY
The scanner comes with a 36 month factory warranty.
CABLES
The Datalogic PowerScan PD9330 barcode scanner requires a cable for connection to PCs or other equipment.
The PD9330 works with RS232, Keyboard Wedge and USB cables.
The communication cable also carries power to the scanner.
USB and Keyboard Wedge connections normally supply power directly to the scanner from the connected equipment.
Standard RS232 ports cannot provide power and RS232 connections will generally need the assistance of an external power supply.
Where external power is required a cable with an external power socket must be used.
