RELIABILITY
The PowerScan PM9600-DPX is inductively charged and has no electrical contacts.
Contacts are frequently a cause for failure as they can become bent, broken or dirty with use.
The only moving part is the scanner trigger which is designed to withstand 10 million hits.
TOUGHNESS
The PowerScan PM9600-DPX scanner is tough enough for most applications.
It can be dropped from a height of 2m to concrete.
It works at temperatures down to -20ºC.
It is sealed to dust and withstands immersion in up to 1m water.
STAR CORDLESS SYSTEM
The PowerScan PM9600-DPX uses Datalogic's STAR system and can communicate with STAR Bases and the STAR Modem.
Each base can support communication with up to 16 PM9600 scanners.
POWERSCAN PM9600-DPX OPTICS
The PowerScan PM9600-DPX omnidirectional imager is an advanced scanner.
It has a dedicated multi-colour illumination system, a time of flight sensor, liquid lens auto-focus and comes with the patented 4D learning system which automatically chooses the best combination for reading the barcode under inspection. There is no need for manual intervention.
The PowerScan PM9600-DPX can read DPM barcodes made by the mainstream methods and include Electrochemically Etched, Ink Jet Printed, Laser Engraved or Dot Peened.
It can also read 1D/2D printed barcodes.
A red dot is projected onto the barcode to assist aiming.
After a good read occurs a green spot is projected onto the barcode.
MOTIONIX TECHNOLOGY
The PowerScan PM9600-DPX uses Datalogic Motionix Technology to make life easier.
Motionix automatically detects when the scanner is held in the hand and switches to hand-held mode which requires the user to press the trigger. When the scanner is placed on a stand it switches to automatic presentation mode.
GOOD-READ FEEDBACK
The PowerScan PM9600-DPX uses Datalogic 3GL (3 Green Lights) Technology.
Good barcode reads are indicated by three green lights, a loud beeper and a green spot projected onto the barcode.
The scanner also vibrates.
5-30VDC POWER
All PowerScan PM9600-DPX bases can handle 5V and 10 to 30VDC.
This voltage range covers a huge range of hardware scenarios and caters for the low voltage DC rings widely found in industry.

Our standard charge for 2-3 day delivery to most locations in mainland UK is £10.
This charge is subject to a weight limit of 20Kg.
For consignments which are heavier than 20Kg we reserve the right to add a surcharge.
If your order includes products from more than one manufacturer we may need to ship items from more than one warehouse and in such circumstances there may be a carriage surcharge.
